The Spectra-Scape was a 600lb steel kinetic sculpture and optical illusion that used 410 up-cycled aluminum mirrors to paint it's surrounding in coloured light. Custom fabricated from steel, the Spectra-Scape's 8 mirror towers spun around a interchangeable central piece on a massive bearing. Particpants could spin the entire installation and also control the interior and exterior lighting from a custom built console.
